Inside an SAP-integrated ecommerce launch

On May 7th, b2b2dot0 is going to kick off the European launch of our service for Blount, Inc.  In advance of that kickoff, the Project Manager gave a presentation to an internal audience giving them a heads up about what to expect.  Here is a man that has internalized the concept of the Kimono effect!

This presentation really is the template that I hope all of our future clients use. The only perspective I can add to this presentation, is that not all of these tasks have to happen before your first customer derives value from the b2b2dot0 service.  While it is true that there is a lot to do to prepare your organization and your SAP system to support your customers over the web, you don’t have to open the website to all of them on day one.  In addition, you don’t have to unveil all of our features to them at once.  Start with a small group, provide them value and scale it up from there.

But by all means, if you’re going to expose your SAP system to your customers over the web, go through this presentation and follow in Blount’s footsteps!
